1. Individual Psychotherapy
Clients will meet with their therapist one-on-one to develop therapeutic goals, learn personal and interpersonal skills, and enhance well-being. The therapeutic approach used in individual sessions will be discussed and agreed upon between the client and therapist, ensuring a good fit for the client's needs.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a specialized approach in which a therapist helps a client process traumatic and/or distressing memories using bilateral stimulation of the brain. Samantha Prevett is a registered EMDR therapist with EMDR Canada and affiliate member of the EMDR International Association. For more information about the EMDR process, click here.

3. Family Therapy
Family units function best when all members work together to support one another's well-being. Therefore, in many circumstances, working with a family unit as a whole is beneficial. Family counselling is right for you if complex dynamics exist in your home and you would like to work on healing together.
Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, or EAP, is an experiential, solution-focused model. A client works with the therapist, an Equine Specialist and horses to come to a greater understanding of their presenting issues and possible solutions. EAP sessions do not involve any mounted work and are conducted using "grounded" work. EAP takes place in an outdoor arena and is therefore only available during the warmer months.
